Acne prone skin

Acne skin is a very frustrating problem and can have several causes. In many cases, the source of the problem can be traced back to internal causes, but poorly chosen cosmetics can also make the skin condition worse. Acne-prone skin is also inherently sensitive, so it's a good idea to avoid cosmetics containing perfumes and fragrances. Regular use of chemical exfoliators can help clear clogged pores and keep skin healthy. Surface-acting AHA acids and salicylic acid, which penetrates deep into the pores, will also help. Contrary to popular belief, acne-prone skin also needs proper hydration, just choose a lighter-textured cream for this purpose that won't feel heavy on your skin. Several ingredients are effective in treating acne, such as retinol, azelaic acid or niacinamide.
